A Bit About Me ...

I live in Ashburton with my family, and my children attend local schools.

I know the Canterbury area well as I grew up in Christchurch, completed an agricultural Degree at Lincoln College and a Degree at Canterbury University. Later tertiary qualifications were completed at the University of Otago and at Victoria University.

I am a keen mountain man, climbing when time is available, skiing, and tramping with my family, studying geology and flora and fauna, and generally enjoying the wonderful experiences available to us in our exciting back-country. My family own a bach at Arthur’s Pass, where we assist in the programme run by dedicated locals to save the alpine kiwi, Roroa. I want to help to save these endangered and very special mountain kiwi from predation by the cunning but rascally stoats.

I want to help save the kiwi, and I am also dedicated to helping people achieve their legal goals.
